³² But I have prayed that your own faith may not fail. And once you have turned back, you must strengthen your brethren.” ³³ Simon said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.” ³⁴ Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
